What You Make Happen
You have heard me say and teach over the years “what you make happen for others God will make happen for you”. It’s a basic principle of sowing and reaping: “You will reap what you sow”. I have learned over the years that when I concentrate on the success of others, God would concentrate on my own success. But we also have to look at the other hand as well. When I concentrate on someone else’s failure then that failure will eventually come to me. It should make us a little more conscious of how we see, talk about and respond to others because those are all...

Have you ever considered how much God desires that we come into greater revelation of He and His Kingdom. The key to greater revelation is understanding that God is not showing us something new, rather understanding that we have to be flexible enough to change our mental/emotional position about something and see it from a different point of view. All it takes to see something differently is to look at it from a different position. The problem most of us have in the body of Christ is that we only see from one position. That is where tradition and customs become damaging. I made a statement...

Here’s my thought for this week: Ask yourself, “Who is controlling my soul?” Whoever controls your soul (mind, emotions and will) will control your life, and whoever controls your life will control your destiny. Since I know I am a three part being, Spirit, Soul and Body, my soul is either being controlled by my Spirit or my Body (flesh). If my soul is being controlled by my Body, which includes the desires of my flesh through my five senses, then I am being controlled by death and decay. See, my body came from the earth which is slowly moving toward death and decay...

What a Wonderful day! Go ahead and rejoice in it. Let me give you a thought that has been stirring in my heart this morning: I believe most Christians have this warped concept that God helps us by showing us our faults. Jeremiah 31:34 God says, “I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” If God remembers our sin no more then why and how would He remind us of them? The work of the Holy Spirit is to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16:9-11 – read all). He did not come to remind us of our faults. He convicts the...

Before I get started today I had someone meet me at the church this morning requesting prayer for our sweet Sister Paulette Winnings. She was taken to memorial hospital last night and the doctors are suspecting a heart attack but we are expecting total healing. Our IWC family is in agreement now that she is the healed of the Lord. AMEN! How about a Word of the Week: The source of many failed relationships is that too many people base their decision on “I think you think”. In other words, always trying to get into their mind instead of hearing their voice. The relationship is often...

New Life A new life is an amazing thing. Just recently I was able to travel to Augusta, Ga with my family. We went to Augusta to see if my sister & her husband(who are pregnant) were having a boy or a girl. This little life will be the first of my parents grandkids, and my first niece/nephew in my immediate family. Needless to say it was an exciting day. They put us all in this room with about ten of us in there, and suddenly the screen filled up with little Brodie Beasley. ITS A BOY!!! We all laughed, cried, pointed, shouted, and cried again. My mind was blown as I could see the...
