Prime Timers 50+

Who are the IWC Primetimers?

We are a ministry who are the older generation of our church who are 50+. We have monthly events, which consist of plenty of fellowship and delicious food. We have special speakers to come and share their hearts to uplift and encourage our seniors. We reach out to those who need someone to care. We participate in services for the local nursing home, such as worship services twice a month. Our goal is to reach out to those who are in need in the surrounding counties, for example, crocheting beanie hats for cancer patients and lap blankets for those in the nursing home. Staying in contact with those primetimers who may have a need. We love joining in with other departments to have different functions such as the Church Christmas Banquet, Fall Festival and any other events held by our church. We strive to be mentors to our young people by keeping a connection and setting good examples by nurturing them with our love and concern for they are our church of tomorrow. We strive to keep the bond strong and unbreakable between the old and the young, because we feel this will give our church the strength to move forward. Our goal is to press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Jesus Christ, forgetting those things, which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things, which are before us.
